Clothing, Shoes, Handbags & Linens:
Any Condition/Drop-off

  • Many public schools and local firehouses host drop-off sheds that collect clothing, shoes, handbags and home linens in any condition.

  • The collections are purchased by Turnkey Enterprises, who distribute good condition items to charities, and recycle poor condition ones. 

  • The money raised goes to the organization hosting the shed, or to another local entity (i.e. DARE program, PTA, etc.). The benefiting organization will be communicated on the shed itself.

  • A QR code generating a receipt is also available on each shed.

  • How to find a shed?

    • Take a quick drive around your/surrounding towns, and you’ll probably see one!

If you are in the Hopewell, NJ area, their public school parking lots host donation sheds that are maintained by Wearable Collections, which distributes textiles to local charities or recycling centers in the NYC area.
